Add-On: Yarn and Dye Pack for Online 'Introduction to Natural Yarn Yarn Dyeing' Workshop

£20.00

Add-on for the Online Introduction to Natural Yarn Dyeing workshop - yarn and dye pack

If you’ve signed up for my introductory online yarn dyeing workshop and would like to have a go at natural dyeing without the fuss of the preparation, this pack is for you!

I’ve selected 5 of my favourite British wool yarns and prepared them so that they are ready for the dye pot. Also included in the pack is a packet of homegrown weld, enough to dye the yarns a rich bright yellow shade. During the workshop, I talk about ways to alter the colour of the dye with modfiers, so I’ve included some pH strips and an alkali modifier for you to experiment at home.

The contents of the pack are as follows:

  • 5 × 10g skeins of different British wool yarns (contents will vary depending on availability) - pre-mordanted for they are ready for the dye pot

  • Homegrown weld to dye a bright yellow shade

  • pH strips and soda crystals for modifying the colour

The next live date for my online workshop is Thursday 14th May, 5-7pm. Click the + below to add the workshop to your cart. You will be able to catch up on the recording if you cannot make the live date.
