Natural Dyeing and Machine Knitting Workshops


Ria teaches group workshops in various natural dyeing techniques from their Congresbury, North Somerset studio, as well as faciliating sessions in Bristol and beyond. The sessions range in topic, catering for both complete beginners and confident dyers. They also teach machine knitting workshops on a 1:1 basis from their studio.

Ria has eight years experience in workshop faciliation, and has taught at many venues, such as the King’s Foundation Highgrove Traditional Crafts, Oxford Real Farming Conference, Westonbirt Arboretum, Shetland Wool Week, Unravel and Highgrove Traditional Crafts. Ria also gives talks and guest lectures, recent examples include the University of West England, Bath Spa University and the Dorset Guild for Weavers, Spinners and Dyers. They love sharing skills, and are available to teach or talk at your event, guild, craft club, university or college, either virtually or in person - please send them an email to find out their rates and discuss your ideas.
