Ria is excited to be at the Great British Fibre Festival this year, demonstrating machine knitting and giving a talk on their South West Colour Library project.
Ria will be there on Saturday 30th May for the following activies:
10:30-11:45 - Machine Knitting Demonstration
2:15-3:15 - Wild Dyes, Local Fibre: The South West Colour Library Talk
3:15-4:30 - Machine Knitting Demonstration
2026 will be the third year for The Great British Fibre Festival. The show is brought to you by Stitch Fest Craft Shows - the team responsible for Stitch Fest, which is the largest yarn show in the South West, now in its 10th year.
TGBFF aims to bring you the absolute best in British yarn and fibre, plus associated haberdashery and notions, with the focus on ethical production and business. We will be looking at how sustainable fibres and local production can benefit us all. Thanks to our fantastic heritage venue, Coldharbour Mill, we will take a look back at the past and celebrate the rich culture around natural fibre production in this country.
