Ria’s bespoke, local lambswool yarn is available for the first time on cone! Ria is moving out of her studio this month and has a surplus of the undyed grey Shetland-Romney yarn.
Suitable for machine knitters as it’s oiled on the cone. It’s also suitable for other fibre crafters but will need a hand wash after making to remove these oils.
The yarn is woollen-spun in Wales from Fernhill Farm’s Shetland-Romney sheep’s lambswool to create a soft, bouncy yarn that’s great to knit with and wear! The yarn specification is 2/7nm and can be knit at tension 8 on a standard gauge knitting machine. It hand knits to a 4ply weight.
