A textural trip to Tenby

I took a long weekend trip to Tenby on the South Coast of Wales to refresh and recharged before getting stuck into the Masters Project. I couldn't help but be inspired by the beautiful surroundings, in particular St Catherine's Island and Fort. The island has an interesting history, having been privately sold in 1907 and the fort transformed into a decadent house that hosted some legendary parties! The house/fort is now quite run down, but on going within there was a lot of beauty to be found in the faded glamour, peeling colourful paintwork and dated graffiti.

Below are some highlights of my photos from the weekend. Pops of colour in the peeling paint and brick, blue and brown textured rust, and lichen, of course!
